The team of Bite, Bite, Woodall and Woodall has been the driving force behind the May Market for many, many years and it works well, however, we are as nothing without the support and hands-on hard work of the church family.

So again, together, we did it! We raised an incredible £2237.95 a really significant contribution to church funds, and offering an accessible and welcoming outreach to our neighbours.

Well done ALL and thank you.
Gardeners grew and bakers baked,
Glass was sorted, china too.
Scones in dozens rose and smelled sweet,
Vintage treasures and of pots not a few!
Eighteen tables snapped up quickly,
Using advertising styles old and new.
All needed now was a volunteer army
And YOU came, determined and true.
The day dawned wet and cold and cheerless,
So contrary to our hopes and dreams,
But the crowds they came, and they purchased.
In numbers previously unforeseen.
And so to that outcome that I told of….
An outcome contrary to any fears
An incredible £2,200 and counting
All areas exceeding previous years.
